NCT, otherwise known as Neo Cultural Technology, is a 25-member K-pop boy group created by SM Entertainment in 2016. The group was initially introduced as an ever-expanding group with an infinite lineup as members were expected to be constantly added to NCT.
However, this concept was called off in 2023 as SM Entertainment announced that they'll make NCT a finite group with the last subunit debut, NCT WISH. The first fixed subunit created was NCT 127, consisting of the members, Taeyong, Taeil, Jaehyun, Jungwoo, Johnny, Haechan, Mark, Doyoung, and Yuta.
