On November 12, 2024, Korean media outlet Herald POP reported the sudden passing of actor Song Jae-rim, who was found dead that afternoon at age 39. Most recently, he appeared in the 2024 historical K-drama Queen Woo as Go Pae-eui. Song Jae-rim began his acting career with the 2009 film Actresses.
The latest reports further mentioned that the funeral of Song Jae-rim will be held at a funeral home in Yeouido on November 14 at 12 PM KST. The place of burial has not been determined yet.
According to Yonhap News Agency, on November 12, the Seongdong Police Station in Seoul stated that Song Jae Rim was found dead in his apartment in Seongdong District. A two-page letter was also allegedly discovered at the scene. While the specific reason for his death has still to be determined, a police officer has claimed that there is currently no suspicion of murder.
