Fans eager to experience the exclusive IGIN pop-up event, a reported collaboration between BTS' Jin and Chef Baek Jong-won, can now secure their spot ahead of time. Pre-reservations for the IGIN pop-up will open through Naver Smart Place starting on December 16, 2024, at noon KST.
This special event, celebrating the launch of the traditional Korean liquor brand ‘IGIN,’ will run from December 20 to December 24, 2024, at a location in Seoul’s Seongdong-gu. The pop-up will be held at 13 Yeonmujang 11-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, with operating hours from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
For those unaware, IGIN is reported to be a traditional Korean liquor co-created by BTS member Jin and renowned celebrity chef, Baek Jong-won. The duo have worked closely together to bring this exciting new product to market.
IGIN is made using locally grown high-sugar apples from Baek Jong-won’s hometown of Yesan and has already stirred significant excitement, especially among BTS fans.

According to a report published by News1 on December 12, alongside the classic distilled version of IGIN, the brand will also release ready-to-drink (RTD) beverages. This venture marks Jin’s first major business project outside of his music career, reflecting his growing passion for promoting traditional Korean liquor.
Furthermore, the reports also stated that the announcement of the IGIN pop-up has generated considerable buzz. GS25’s official Instagram post about the event quickly amassed thousands of likes and hundreds of inquiries, indicating widespread anticipation even before the event began.
