Netflix confirmed the production of its new drama The Art of Sarah, starring Shin Hae-sun and Lee Jun-hyuk, with a glimpse of the first script reading on January 22.
The story follows Sarah Kim, a woman determined to become a luxury icon by hiding the truth, and Mu-gyeong, a detective trying to uncover her secrets. Directed by Kim Jin Min, known for Extracurricular and My Name, the drama boasts an impressive production team, including cinematographer Joo Sang-lim, editor Nam Na-young, and costume designer Cho Sang-kyung.
Shin Hae-sun stars as Sarah Kim, the director of a prestigious luxury brand in Asia. Known for her mystique and recognition among the elite, Sarah finds herself entangled in a mysterious murder case that threatens to expose her hidden past and secret identity. Shin Hae Sun promises a riveting portrayal of this complex character.

Opposite her, Lee Jun-hyuk plays Mu-gyeong, a detective who becomes deeply involved in unraveling Sarah's enigmatic life. As he investigates, he discovers Sarah’s multifaceted identity, which includes various names, ages, careers, and backgrounds, adding layers to the suspenseful narrative.

Shin Hae-sun and Lee Jun-hyuk: Recent projects
Shin Hae-sun made her television debut with School 2013 and has since gained widespread recognition for her lead roles in popular dramas such as Still 17, Angel's Last Mission: Love, Mr. Queen, See You in My 19th Life, and Welcome to Samdal-ri.
Shin Hae-sun recently starred in Dear Hyeri, which premiered on September 23, 2024. The drama follows Joo Eun-ho, an announcer who develops a new personality after emotional trauma, while her ex-boyfriend, Jung Hyun-oh, struggles with his own hidden emotional wounds.
Lee Jun-hyuk is known for his role as Seo Dong-jae in Stranger and has also appeared in Naked Fireman, A Poem a Day, Designated Survivor: 60 Days, 365: Repeat the Year, Dark Hole, and Vigilante.
More recently, he took on a leading role in Love Scout, an ongoing drama that premiered on January 3. He plays the role of Yu Eun-ho, a single father who is also Ji-yun's assistant.
The story centers around a driven CEO who pours all her energy into work, leaving her clueless about life outside her job. Her dependable secretary, a single father excels at both parenting and household tasks and manages everything she cannot.
