On December 17, 2024, the 2024 Hanteo Music Awards unveiled their nominations list on the social media account. The 32nd Hanteo Music Awards (HMA) will be held on February 15 and 16, 2025, at the Jangchung Arena in Seoul, South Korea. Known as the "Global K-Pop Big Data Awards Ceremony," this annual event recognizes the achievements of K-pop artists and their dedicated fandoms.

Fans worldwide can actively participate in the Hanteo Music Awards by voting for their favorite artists in various categories. This includes the WhosFandom Award, which celebrates the dedication of global fandoms. The voting process is divided into several stages, starting with the TOP 40 Round from December 2 to December 5, 2024, held on Whosfan Official X (formerly Twitter).

To vote, fans must download and log in to the Whosfan app, where they can cast their votes by clicking the “star” icon in the app’s bottom menu. Sharing votes on social media platforms is encouraged to boost support for their favorite artists. The voting outcome is determined by a combination of 50% Whosfan votes and 50% BIGC votes, ensuring a balanced and transparent process.

This is followed by the TOP 16 Round, which runs from December 9 to December 20, 2024, exclusively on the Whosfan app. The final stages, including the TOP 8 and Final Rounds, will take place from December 23 to December 24, 2024, also on the Whosfan app, using a tournament-style format to decide the winners.

Fans are advised to stay updated on voting details and schedules through the official Twitter account of the event and the Whosfan app.

The awards, hosted by Hanteo Global, rely on their real-time music chart data to ensure fair and transparent selections, further solidifying the event's reputation for objectivity.
