The Boyfriend's famed couple, Dai and Shun, made it to the cover of the esteemed Japanese magazine, Anan. The magazine is set to publish a special edition titled "Announcement! 2024 Autumn Anan Popular Cosmetics Awards" in its Wednesday issue set to be published on September 18, 2024.
The popular Netflix same-gender reality series The Boyfriend gave Dai and Shun the opportunity to be featured on the special edition cover and photo spread. The Netflix series aired 10 episodes, and at the end of the show, the pair left as an endgame couple. Both participants confirmed that they have been in a relationship with each other ever since.
Fans of Dai and Shun were thrilled to see the same-gender couple get featured on the cover of an esteemed Japanese magazine. One fan wrote on X:

The snippets of the clip went viral online as Dai and Shun could be seen displaying their loving side right away in a morning wake-up image, hugging one another, and sharing a kiss as they wake up.
Anan magazine captured the pair for the special "Motekisou Cosmetics Awards" segment, which showcased the duo's playful camaraderie. The award is held twice a year to honor makeup artists and stylists who have achieved breakthroughs in the entertainment industry by innovating new styles and looks.
