HYBE Corporation's total revenue is predicted to increase in the fourth quarter of 2024, following the anticipated release of BTS' Jin's album. According to a report by the Business Post on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, Yuanta Securities researcher Lee Hwan-wook predicted an increase in HYBE's revenue and a decrease in operational profits in the fourth quarter of this year.

Jin, the eldest member of BTS, completed his mandatory military service on June 12, 2024. He is the only member of the K-pop group who is yet to mark his official solo debut with a music release. Anticipation of the Moon singer's solo debut is at an all-time high as fans and listeners look forward to it.

As per researcher Lee Hwan-wook's prediction:

“BTS member Jin is set to release a solo album in the 4th quarter. Fan community platform Weverse will also launch a subscription membership.”

According to the Yuanta Securities researcher's prediction, HYBE's revenue is expected to record sales of 2.215 trillion KRW, with an operating profit of 247 billion KRW collectively. The sales of the entertainment conglomerate will increase by 1.7 percent higher than it did in 2023. However, operational profits will fall by 16.5 percent.

BTS’ Jin hints at upcoming solo music in a recent interview

BTS’ Jin graced the front page of Harper's Bazaar Korea for the September 2024 issue in collaboration with the Italian luxury brand Gucci as their new global ambassador. In an interview with the magazine on August 14, he spoke about his recent activities and future plans.

As many fans have showcased their interest in Jin’s solo music, he teased the upcoming release without revealing too many details. He shared how his solo music would sound in comparison to ice cream flavors and more.

“Without giving away any spoilers... I think it'll be fun to perform. It's different for each song, so I can't say for sure, but if I were to compare it to the flavor of 'ice cream, there's soda, popping candy, and dark chocolate. I hope you look forward to it," he said.

The singer also explained that he has been working hard recently to repay fans for their support:

“I'm really happy these days. I'm busy working every day these days. Even at this moment, I'm smiling because I'm happy just working. I want to continue to give happiness to ARMY through my work. How great would it be if someone were happy because of me!”
