On September 2, 2024, the phrase 'HYBE STOP SABOTAGING NEWJEANS' started trending on X as the South Korean media outlet Sports TV reported that the new ADOR management demanded the deletion of the group's past videos.

According to the outlet, the head of Dolphiners Films, Shin Woo-seok, who helmed the music videos for NewJeans, revealed that they were reportedly requested by ADOR management to delete videos and other works related to the group.

She stated that there has been a change in the sub-label policy due to a change in management.

She further described, as translated by Google:

"Due to Adore's request for deletion, the New Jeans music video and related videos and channels that Dolphin Kidnapping Group has worked on and uploaded, as well as videos that were scheduled to be uploaded in the future, cannot be released."

It should also be noted that the content uploaded on the Ban Hee-soo YouTube channel was also requested to be deleted.

Subsequently, the fandom started trending the phrase 'HYBE STOP SABOTAGING NEWJEANS' on social media, expressing their disappointment and disapproval with ADOR and HYBE's new instructions.

"HYBE STOP SABOTAGING NEWJEANS."

Fans continued to showcase their support for the group amidst the ongoing controversy. They stated that HYBE would never be able to erase the impact created by the group and Ban Hee-soo.

"Hybe can delete ban heesoo but will never be able to erase the impact that ban heesoo/ditto has had on fans, south korea, and globally. we are ban heesoo and nothing hybe does will ever change that,"- a fan reacted.
"Multiple articles are trending in the top 20 on NAVER News with tons of explosive reactions to ADOR’s attempt at removing NewJeans’ content with Shin Wooseok & Dolphiners Films. KEEP PUTTING ON THE PRESSURE,"- a fan shared.
"I hope the rumours are true about them filing a case against hybe so that they can be free and away from hybe and can no longer be sabotaged,"- a fan mentioned.

Many also claimed that everything started to crumble after Min Hee-jin was dismissed from the CEO's position.

"HYBE IS STILL SALTY ABOUT DITTO BEING THE BEST KPOP GG SONG, DITTO WILL ALWAYS BE OUR QUEEN, WE LOVE NEW JEANS AND YOU CAN'T CHANGE THAT!!! LET'S STREAM DITTO GUYS,"- a user reacted.
"Ironically everything is starting to go downhill now that Min Hee Jin is no longer the CEO,"- a user commented.
"Worse company ever, can't even value their group's success,"- a user mentioned.

Shin Woo-seok revealed they would no longer collaborate with NewJeans

The director of the group's music video, Shin Woo-seok revealed that Dolphiners Films would no longer collaborate with NewJeans in the future. She also disclosed that the Dolphiners Film and Ban Hee-soo YouTube channels were in operation for the sole purpose of showcasing the company's portfolio and not for profit.

Additionally, the videos and content uploaded on the channel were voluntarily created for fandom and did not generate any revenue for the company. She further stated, as translated by Google:

"However, due to Adore's changed position, all videos have been deleted and cannot be made public. As of today, it seems that Dolphin Kidnapping Group and Adore's collaboration will be impossible."

She further expressed regret for not executing the projects she had promised with the group in the future. Additionally, she apologized to the staff and fans who have been working and waiting for the group's content for months.
