On September 3, 2024, BANGTAN TV dropped episode 4 of BTS Jin's variety show Run Jin through their official YouTube channel. Titled A Dangerous Invitation, the episode featured MMA artist Kim Dong-hyun, Youtuber Kwak Joo-bin, and TXT's Yeonjun, respectively.
As part of a game played by the guests, Kwak Joo-bin answered a question with,
"Since it is very rainy, should we smoke?"
In response, Jin was shocked and jokingly asked what Kwak Joo-bin thought RUN JIN was about. The singer proudly claimed that his staff would never come up with such questions related to smoking. As translated by the BANGTANTV YouTube channel, the idol said,
"Hey! Are you for real? What's my show to you? Our staff will never come up with questions like these."

Subsequently, this segment from the episode went viral on social media, featuring BTS' Jin opposing the topic of cigarettes.
As the clip circulated, many expressed their pride in Jin, highlighting that the Abyss singer's show is family-friendly.

Many fans joked that Jin must have placed a 'no smoking rule' in HYBE.

BTS' Jin named brand ambassadors for luxury brands
In other news, after being discharged from the Korean military, Jin was announced the global ambassador for luxury brands Gucci and Fred.
On July 8, 2024, Fred, a French jewelry and watch brand, appointed Jin as their first brand ambassador. Subsequently, Gucci's creative director Sabato De Sarno also announced the singer as the global brand ambassador for the Italian luxury fashion house through an Instagram post on August 8, 2024.
"I am very excited to welcome Jin as Global Brand Ambassador. His warm and kind personality is truly magnetic, and his style is simply unique," De Sarno captioned the post.
