TWICE's Jihyo returns as the guest house reviewer

The second season of the travel variety show Seipja (Tenant): Those Who Check Into Guesthouses Everywhere, was kicked off on October 8, 2024, in Yeosu. Following the success of first season, TWICE Jinhyo has returned as the main host, visiting various guesthouses not only in South Korea but around the world.

In the first episode of the second season, Jihyo visited the city of Yeosu in the South Jeolla Province of South Korea. It was the first time for the singer to visit the city in her life. Upon her arrival, the show introduced the viewers to a distinct Jeolla dialect, as the singer received a crash course from a taxi driver.

With Jihyo and the guesthouse owner sharing the same birth year, the episode exude 'MZ energy' which was exemplified later in the eisode. At the guesthouse, the staff hosted discussions surrounding various popular culture topics like dating, for the visitors. One of the discussion topic included "breaking up because your significant other have someone else vs. getting ghosted by them".

The TWICE member quickly responded in favor of the first choice. The singer clarifies that if she is ghosted, their relationship remains unclear whether they have broken up or not. However, with their partner having someone else in their life, it becomes clear that the relationship is over.

Those in favor of 'getting ghosted' presented their counterarguments. A visitor commented that it would be better to be ghosted than knowing that your partner has someone else in their life.

The show has gained significant popularity among the MZ generation in Korea. It refers to the combination of both Millenials and GenZs for its unique interactions between travellers, creating an uncertain yet exciting atmosphere.

Season 1 of the show set the tone for the show as Jihyo explored various domestic and international guesthouses in Jeju, Busan, Sokcho, and, Fukui in Japan.
