SEVENTEEN's Hoshi reveals future plans through the means of fun tarot card reading

K-pop idols rarely open up about their future plans, ideal partners, or dreams of settling down, as these topics are often kept private. Recently, however, SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi surprised fans by sharing his thoughts on marriage and family life.

These revelations came in a lighthearted manner through a tarot card segment on the first episode of singer Lee Yong-Jin's show. Known for his humor, Lee often incorporates playful “tarot readings” to tease his guests about their futures. Though he doesn’t claim to be an expert, his exaggerated interpretations and playful predictions add a fun twist that both the guests and the audience enjoy.

During the episode, Lee Yong-jin asked his guest,

“If you ever got married, what kind of life would you imagine?”

To this, the SEVENTEEN member admitted that although he’s currently focused on his career, he does envision marriage someday. He expressed how if the fans could understand him, he would like to do things that he is unable to do now as an active idol.

His mention of his fans in this context added a thoughtful touch, showing his consideration for them even when talking about personal dreams.

Later, Hoshi was asked about his ideal type. Reflecting on how his views have evolved, he said,

“Back when I was a rookie, I didn’t give much thought to my ideal type. But now that I’m older, I think I’d want someone I feel comfortable with, someone who matches me well. That’s the kind of person I’d like to meet someday.”

The episode gave fans an entertaining glimpse into Hoshi’s personal side, allowing them to connect with him on a deeper level. It was a lighthearted yet touching moment, giving fans a chance to see the genuine thoughts and future dreams of the star.
