On September 5, 2024, NCT's Mark left messages for his fans on the DearU Bubble, giving them assurances amidst former member, Taeil's ongoing s*xual assault investigation. For the uninitiated, Moon Taeil (30) was accused of s*xual assault on August 28, 2024. As a result, SM Entertainment removed him from NCT and its sub-unit NCT 127.
Meanwhile, Mark broke his silence amidst the ongoing case of his fellow former member. He addressed his fans and shared how he couldn't speak to them earlier due to unfortunate circumstances.
"Did you eat? I haven’t eaten yet either; I’ll eat now. Sorry I couldn’t come by often. I know you must’ve been waiting a while. I also thought a lot about you, too. But trying to find the right timing was difficult for me for some reason. I missed you a lot too."
Mark added that he gained a lot of strength through his fans' support amidst the debacle and wrote,
"I’ll come by more often. Don’t worry about anything else. Let’s just keep getting even more awesome together. Didn’t really get to properly say thank you but I really felt like I gained a lot of strength from the fans during the tour so far. You guys really gave us a lot of energy. Thanks so much."
