Recently, Billie Eilish landed in Seoul, South Korea, for the promotion of her latest album, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT. The singer has been giving multiple interviews and making several appearances for the album.

She participated in a Q&A session with BLACKPINK's Jennie, organized by Spotify. She also made an appearance on the talk show, The Seasons, hosted by ZICO, a South Korean soloist. Elish then appeared on the popular South Korean variety show, You Quiz on the Block, hosted by Yoo Jae-suk and Jo Se-ho on Sunday.

During the episode, she also talked about other things, including how and where she learned music and when she began making it, among other things. The Ocean Eyes singer explained that she never formally learned how to make music, and everything she knew came from her mother. She also stated that her initial songs were not recorded in a studio but that they were recorded in her brother, Finneas' childhood bedroom.

It was a live record of her brother's instrumental and her vocals. She also talked about how her brother was very ambitious about music and followed a particular quote from the book, Outliers. The quote states that if someone practices something for 10,000 hours, it makes them really good at that particular task.

Billie Eilish explained that her brother even had it written on his walls, and making music for 10,000 hours or more has been one of their goals. The singer added that she was happy and proud of the fact that both she and her brother have surpassed this 10,000-hour mark.

She discussed her Grammy Awards, especially the impressive trophies she carried home in 2020. The singer explained that for a 17-year-old girl who put together an album with minimal resources, those awards were extremely gratifying and rewarding. She then stated that she aims to make music that focuses on her personality and individual style.
