On Thursday, July 4, the final episode of the reality survival show I-LAND 2 was rolled out, revealing the winning members. These seven contestants will be making their debut in the K-pop industry as a girl group named izna.
The group's debuting members include Mai, Jeemin, Jiyoon, Koko, Sarang, Jungeun, and Saebi. THE BLACK LABEL, co-founded by Teddy, a South Korean record producer, singer, and rapper, will produce the group. While the first five members were chosen through fans' votes, the other two were selected by the show's judges and producers.
The show premiered on April 18 on Mnet in collaboration with the two Korean entertainment agencies, Wake One Entertainment and THE BLACK LABEL. The show consisted of a total of eleven episodes, and it kickstarted with 24 contestants.
The final debut lineup was created following a series of tasks and competitions that tested the contestants' skills, such as singing, dancing, rapping, etc. The show's judges include Taeyang, VVN, 24, Monika, and LeeJung.

The debut date and further details regarding the group as an artist are yet to be unveiled. On the other hand, the first edition of this reality survival show produced the K-pop boy group ENHYPEN, which is currently housed under BELIFT LAB, a subsidiary of HYBE Labels.
I-LAND premiered in June 2020 and was wrapped up in September 2020. The show kickstarted with a total of 23 young male K-pop trainees, and it was collectively produced by Bang Si Hyuk, Rain, and Zico. It consisted of 12 episodes, and similar to I-LAND 2, the contestants were put through a series of tasks and challenges.
The final debut lineup of I-LAND, ENHYPEN, consisted of seven members, namely Jungwoo, Sunoo, Jay, Jake, Niki, Sunghoon, and Heesung. The group debuted soon after the show's finale on November 30, 2020.
They rolled out their debut EP, Border: Day One. Given that ENHYPEN is considered one of the best-performing artists in the K-pop industry, fans are excited to see what izna has in store for them.
