On Friday, May 31, ADOR's CEO Min Hee-jin attended her second press conference, where she talked about several things surrounding the recent events that unfolded between her and HYBE Labels. She explained that since the trial ruled in favor of her; she feels a substantial burden off of her shoulders.

Following the same, she also expressed that though there have been several conflicts between her and HYBE in the past month, she would like to resolve them. She kicked off her press conference by suggesting that she, ADOR, and HYBE Labels can conclude with their stances and reconcile to benefit all the parties they house.

Here's what Min Hee-jin stated:

"I would like to suggest a reconciliation to HYBE. I wasn't the one who started this fight, but I am taking this opportunity to express my intention to remain at ADOR as CEO. If I were thinking only of my own future, I would choose otherwise."

She continued to express her concerns for others who have been and are being affected by the conflict.

"But if I continue to work toward the plans I envisioned with the NewJeans members, I do not believe that it will bring losses to anyone. I want to suggest a rational approach. I was also hurt emotionally by recent events."

Min Hee-jin started off her press conference by stating that she had several things to address as she organized the conference. She started by saying that she felt the accusations placed on her were cleared. Then, she continued to express her gratitude towards everyone who supported and cheered for her during this conflict, as it was the hardest part of her life so far.

Min Hee-jin continued to state she was hurt when accused of embezzlement. She expressed she was simply trying to play her duties as both the president of HYBE's subsidiary company and the CEO of ADOR. Therefore, she expressed her regrets about how the collision of her two roles resulted in controversies and misunderstandings.

"There are times when my role as CEO of ADOR and my role as the president of a subsidiary encounter conflicting interests. They accused ADOR of embezzlement, and I just went, how can it be embezzlement? I am here to fulfill my duties as CEO of ADOR."

However, she explained she was glad that her name was cleared after the court's ruling. She then continued to express her plans for NewJeans, the K-pop girl group under ADOR, as she could not focus on them yet.

"It was painful for me when I realized that if I were removed from my position, that also meant that my vision (for NewJeans) would be dashed. It would also lead to serious financial losses. We are preparing for a concert at the Tokyo Dome in June, and a world tour for next year. "

She continued,

"To put together the setlist, we also had plans to release music at the end of the year. Because this conflict lasted for the last month, it was difficult to focus on those plans. I would like to ask that you let me carry out my plans for NewJeans. I was hurt, and the members were also hurt by these events."

Min Hee-jin concluded her statement by expressing that she would like to build ADOR back to its original state by bringing back the ADOR executives.

"I believe that the board members will continue to work for ADOR. They are some of the founding members of ADOR and people who are needed at this company, so they will continue to work for ADOR."

As Min Hee-jin not only puts forth plans for her, NewJeans, and ADOR but also calls HYBE Labels for reconciliation, netizens hope that the feud between HYBE and ADOR finally concludes.
