Fans got emotional as BTS' J-Hope celebrated his military discharge with a post featuring Jimin's doodle work on the mirror of their practice room. On the group's official YouTube channel, it was revealed that Jimin drew this mirror doodle during Closer Than This when he was learning the choreography.

With the conclusion of his mandatory military service, J-Hope visited the practice room where he captured an image depicting Jimin's doodle work. The fans left sentimental messages about this sweet interaction between the two members also known as 'JiHope' together.

BTS' J-Hope completes his 18-month-long military service

J-Hope was discharged from the South Korean mandatory military service on October 17, 2024, after completing almost 18 months of duty. J-hope is the second member of BTS to have completed his military service after Jin who concluded his conscription in June 2024.

J-hope's return to civilian life has been celebrated by not just his fans but also his bandmates. Jin had paid J-hope's military base in Wonju, Gangwon province a visit. Members of TXT had sent him flowers and cards with hand-written messages, which the On the Street rapper showcased during his Weverse live.

During his first Weverse live after being discharged, J-hope expressed how hectic his days and nights were in the military. He also relayed the pressure he felt while thinking about his schedules after getting discharged.


BTS' Jimin to complete his military service by June 2025

BTS' Jimin enlisted on December 12, 2023, and is anticipated to fulfill his military service by June 11, 2025. Prior to his enlistment, the singer released his debut album, Face with two singles, Set Me Free Pt. 2 and Like Crazy. The album led the singer to become the first Korean solo artist to reach number one on the Billboard Artist 100.

During his military conscription, BigHit Music released Jimin's second solo album Muse on July 19 which was supported by singles, Who, and Smeraldo Garden Marching Band.
