"I’m going crazy” - Fans go gaga over unreleased kiss scenes from Serendipity's Embrace

On Tuesday, August 13, 2024, the heartfelt romance drama Serendipity's Embrace aired its final episode. Following the release of its last episode, the TvN network shared an unreleased clip of the drama on August 15, 2024, via social media. This unreleased clip showed an intense chemistry between the lead couple, Kang Hu Yeong (played by Chae Jong Hyeop) and Lee Hong Ju (played by Kim So Hyun), and had a sweet kissing moment in the clip.

Originally, this scene was supposed to be a part of episode 8, but it wasn’t included in the final cut.

Serendipity's Embrace’s fans were smitten with this clip, and they flooded the internet with their reactions. One of them wrote:

Serendipity's Embrace is a rom-com drama featuring Kim So Hyun and Chae Jong Hyeop

The recently finished TvN drama premiered its first episode on July 22, 2024 at 20:40 pm KST. The show aired fresh episodes every Monday and Tuesday on the TvN network. For audiences of other regions, the show was also on Viki and Viu. Serendipity's Embrace has a total of eight episodes.

Lee Hong Ju's love life takes a dramatic turn during her high school. This initial encounter with love in her third grade of high school, however, is tragically short-lived. Because of this, she has always been extremely wary of matters of the heart.

10 years down the road, she crosses paths with Kang Hu-Yeong, as luck would have it. Hu-Young is a brilliant financial planner while being haunted by her tragic past. After 10 years, he goes back to South Korea.

Lee Hong-ju, his first love, enters his way by chance and an accident, as suggested by the show’s title Serendipity's Embrace. The romance between the leads then blooms.

This Korean drama is an adaptation of an eponymous webtoon written by Nam Ji-eun. It was published by Kim In-ho in 2011.
