On September 27, 2024, former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin disclosed plans to turn her feud with HYBE into a documentary during her appearance at the Hyundai Card Da Vinci Motel event in Itaewon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, South Korea.

The event was organized by Hyundai Card, and she appeared as a lecturer. She mentioned how she would document her recent feud with HYBE and added, as translated by user @kchartsmaster:

"I have to win. I thought that I didn't want to have to fight like this. I'm going to hold out as long as I can. I'm going to win. This is a rare event. I'm going to make a documentary. I'm going to make a documentary, and I'm going to tell the whole story."

For those unversed, HYBE and Min Hee-jin have been entangled in a series of controversies since April 22, 2024, when the former stated that they had formally launched an audit of its label subsidiary ADOR. They subsequently asked its CEO, Min Hee-jin, to step down from the position. In retaliation, the creative director accused HYBE of plagiarism and creative infringement.

Presently, Hee-jin has been dismissed from the position of ADOR's CEO, and HYBE has appointed Kim Ju-young as the new CEO of the sub-label.

Min Hee-jin mentioned that she was going to sell her house to fight the legal battle with HYBE

During the 2024 Hyundai Card Da Vinci Motel event, Min Hee-jin mentioned that she was going to sell her house to fight the legal battle with HYBE Corporation. She mentioned that the lawsuit was priced at 2.3 billion won, so she needed to sell her house to compensate for the cost. She stated, as translated by X user @kchartsmaster:

"The lawsuit cost is 2.3 billion won. I'm going to see my house because of these legal fees. I'll have to sell it. If you don't have money, you can't sue. I'm grateful that I don't have a husband and children, and I'm grateful that my parents are living well."

During the creative director's feud with HYBE Corporation, she previously organized a press conference to address the concerns and issues. At the event, she also expressed frustration and regret watching the public's reaction following the end of her conference. She confessed that she was hurt as her press conference emerged as a popular meme on social media and cited it as "heartbreaking."

At the Hyundai Card Da Vinci Motel event, former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin also unveiled the demo of NewJeans' unreleased song.

Min Hee-jin, a South Korean music producer, graphic designer, and art director, was a former creative director at SM Entertainment. She is known for shaping and branding the popular K-pop groups Girls' Generation, SHINee, f(x), EXO, and Red Velvet.
