BTS Jin will carry the Olympic torch in Paris on July 14, 2024
On July 12, the Olympics website reported that Jin was selected as a torchbearer for the 2024 Paris Olympics. They stated that the Paris 2024 Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games had assigned BTS Jin as the first runner in the torchbearer relay in the Louvre section.
The relay is scheduled to take place on July 14, 2024, in Paris. The idol will run with the torch at around 8:30 p.m. CET from the Pyramid of the Louvre Museum.
In recent news, BTS Jin was officially discharged from his mandatory military service on June 12, 2024, after concluding eighteen months of active duty. Following his duty, the idol arrived at the HYBE building and started a Weverse to interact with his fans without changing his military uniform.
