On Saturday, October 5, BTS' Jin was interviewed by LANEIGE, the South Korean beauty brand, where he answered a short round of questions. The idol was recently announced as the latest ambassador of LANEIGE. Therefore, he shared his thoughts on becoming the brand's ambassador and his favorite skincare products, among other topics.

During the conversation, the interviewer asked about the secret behind his great skin. Jin previously mentioned that he's in his "off-season" appearance, suggesting that he feels that his looks have not been at their best following his return from the military. However, during the interview, he expressed that his skin is currently in its peak season.
The idol also mentioned that the secret behind his great skin is LANEIGE's Cream Skin line of products that include toners, moisturizers, and more. This is also the focus of the idol's campaign, following the announcement of his ambassadorship with the brand. He said:
"I don't think I have any special tips but thanks to LANEIGE, I feel like I'm returning to my peak season. I believe my off-season is over, with the help of Cream Skin."

The first question the idol was asked at the LANEIGE interview was how he feels about his recent label and ambassadorship with the brand. The idol responded that he'd never been an ambassador for a beauty brand before. While this fact made him nervous, Jin also stated that he was excited about the new journey with the company.
"I'm excited to work with LANEIGE, a brand I've always loved! I'm a bit nervous because it is my first time being a beauty brand ambassador but I'm also really thrilled. I can't wait for you all to see what we're working on!"
The idol also commented on his thoughts about his recent shoot with LANEIGE. He said he enjoyed every part of the shoot because he loved seeing his face on camera and was quite confident about his appearance. However, when he was asked to choose a favorite aspect of the shoot, he replied:
"It's really hard to pick just one because I enjoyed every scene. I love seeing my face on camera and there were a lot of close-up shots today which made the whole shoot even more fun. So I'd say every scene was exciting. I mean. I'm pretty confident with my face, as you know. Haha."
The idol quipped that ten minutes before the shoot, he had ordered Mulhow, a cold soup with sashimi because he was hungry. Jin also expressed that it's been one of his favorites for a long time, and since he hadn't had it in a while, he decided to treat himself.
Toward the end of the interview, Jin played the Syllable Game. The idol created a poem based on the syllables of the word 'LANEIGE' and laughed about how he thought it was embarrassing.
The K-pop idol was discharged from military service on June 12, 2024, and is expected to return to his music soon.
