On Wednesday, December 25, BLACKPINK's Jennie released a Q&A video through her own label, Odd Atelier. In the interview session, the idol talked about several things, including her progress as a soloist, what she's been up to regarding her career, and more. During the same, she also hinted about her upcoming solo studio album release.

Jennie stated that she's been working really hard to create the album, and she's excited to show her album to the fans and other netizens. Additionally, she also stated that the album has two collaborations seated. Though she didn't name the people she collaborated with, she mentioned that they are some of her dream artists in the music industry.

Following the new spoilers and hints regarding BLACKPINK Jennie's upcoming solo studio debut album, fans are thrilled to see what's in store for them. One user said:

BLACKPINK's Jennie teases her upcoming solo debut studio album

On December 25, Jennie dropped a few spoilers and hints about her upcoming solo debut studio album in a Q&A interview session. During the same, she explained that she had worked on the album for about eleven months and was happy to have all her hard work and effort finally reached an audience.

“It took me like about a good 11 months. To get to a point where I was like, okay, we’re good, we’re ready, and we’re going to stop here. I’ve never done this before, and people kind assume that this has been in my life. Which is kind of true, but I’ve never really done it on my own. I’ve always had the girls by my side.. and I always at a safe environment.”

Another question she was asked in the interview was what the expected reaction from fans was or how she wanted people to feel when they listened to her upcoming album. To this, the idol confidently replied that the album might be a gateway for fans and other netizens to get closer to her or understand her better.

"First of all, hopefully everyone feels a little closer to me. But my hope with my album is that the world gets to see Jennie and her music as it is, like i wouldn’t even be mad if you hate it."

She also mentioned a few other details about her upcoming album. Jennie expressed that the album and its tracks are expected to sound much different from the singles she's released.

The idol also talked about how she dived into experimenting with a few music genres. Therefore, fans have been looking forward to the official release of the album.
