Sports Chosun reported that South Korean actor and runway model, Song Jae-rim, passed away at 39. The actor was found dead in his apartment in Seongdong-gu on November 12, 2024. Seongdong Police Station reportedly found a two-page s*icide note. However, the cause of death is still unknown.
Shortly after the news of Song Jae-rim's passing away went viral online, actor Park Ho-san (My Mister) took to social media and wrote:

Sports Chosun reported that the late actor's contract with his former agency, Saram Entertainment, expired in 2023. The agency released a statement on November 12, 2024, saying that they didn't know about "his whereabouts."
"We didn't know about his whereabouts after his contract expired last year."
YTN News reported that the late actor's new agency under the leadership of veteran manager "A" stated that Song Jae-rim was a passionate actor and "wanted to do a lot of projects."
