On November 29, 2024, Bighit Music shared BTS' Kim Namjoon's behind-the-scenes 2 for the artist's forthcoming documentary RM: Right People, Wrong Place through their official X account. In the fifty-eight-second clip, the idol talked about the game of Baduk with those present.

BTS' RM was seated with three other people when one of them asked if he knew how to play Baduk. In response, Kim Namajoon stated that he was skilled at the game and took out his phone to showcase his game achievements.

As he showed his Baduk skills, the duo got entangled with the word 'igo,' which sounded like 'go.' The others started laughing at their confusion. They later stated that the idol was showcasing them janggi, omok, and other Asian board games, to which RM said it was the game of Banduk.

Later on, Kim Namjoon and others started laughing at the pronunciation of 'igo' and the Japanese translation of the Baduk.

The behind-the-scenes part 2 of RM: Right People, Wrong Place circulated on social media and went viral among fans. They expressed their excitement, stating that watching Kim Namjoon smile was one of their favorite moments in the clip. One fan tweeted:

"I'm a very simple person, I see kim Namjoon laugh, I fall in love already."

The fandom mentioned that they were grateful for the gift from BTS' Kim Namjoon in the form of RM: Right People, Wrong Place.

Meanwhile, fans stated that the conversation between RM and his acquaintances was adorable.

According to the official website rmrpwp.com, BTS' RM's documentary chronicles the eight-month production process of his second solo album, Right Place, Wrong Person. The project aims to capture the concerns and issues faced by Kim Namjoon and RM.

The documentary RM: Right People, Wrong Place was screened for the first time at the 29th Busan International Film Festival under the Open Cinema official selection. According to the website, the documentary intends to convey:

"I’d try to see to what extent I could be truly honest with myself as RM, or as Kim Namjoon.” Leader of 21st century pop icons BTS, solo artist RM, and simply—Kim Namjoon; who is he, really?"

The description further reads:

"In search of the answer, he bares the unfamiliar feelings and stories in his second solo album “Right Place, Wrong Person”. “For the first time in a while, I feel like I’m existing as myself.” Everything he immersed himself in, reflected upon and loved in 2023. For the first time, RM—or just Kim Namjoon—steps forward, and opens the door to speak to his audience."

RM: Right People, Wrong Place is slated for a limited theatrical release on December 5, 2024. Meanwhile, the male artist was enlisted for his mandatory military service on December 11, 2023, alongside fellow group member Kim Taehyung. He is expected to be discharged in June 2025.
