On January 8, 2025, BTS' Jungkook took to the South Korean social media platform Weverse, where he expressed his longing for ARMYs. He kick-started his update, stating he got late in greeting the fandom a Happy New Year. He mentioned that it was the year of his discharge and the time he would reunite with ARMYs. He went on to confess that he did not feel any changes between him and the fans. He further added, as translated by @BTStranslation_:
