On Tuesday, December 3, BTS' Jungkook premiered his docuseries, I AM STILL, on Disney+. The series came about after the huge popularity of his titular documentary, which debuted worldwide on September 18, 2024.

In comparison to its theatrical debut, the newly released three-episode series has an additional footage of around 55 minutes. The docuseries follows the making of BTS' Jungkook's solo debut album GOLDEN.

During the creation of his debut record, Jungkook imparted insights regarding his self-discovery. He disclosed that he had not mastered any particular form of dance, nor did he have a unique style initially.

“Since I hadn't learned one specific genre of dance, I started with choreography. And after just doing choreo for a while, I felt like I was neither getting better nor worse. I didn't have my own style. I felt like I didn't have my own unique dancing style in the past."

BTS' Jungkook went on to say that after he started doing choreography, he realized he could learn a lot without even realizing it.

"I tend to learn a lot of things without realizing it. Whether it's dancing, singing, personality, or a way of speaking... I was a skilled dancer before I even realized it.”

BTS' Jungkook was praised by his Usher in I AM STILL

This concise three-episode docuseries featured a few acquaintances and friends of BTS' Jungkook who shared their thoughts on the K-pop idol’s dance and his zeal for music. One of them was the American singer-songwriter and dancer, Usher, who collaborated with BTS’ Jungkook on the remix version of his hit single Standing Next To You.

Usher underlined the K-pop idol's dedication to his choreography when talking about his time filming the Standing Next to You music video and his interactions with Jeon Jungkook, as shown in the docuseries. He also stated that he would like to catch up with him again after he is finished with the service.

“What I do love about what I see in him as an artist is that he's very committed to his choreography. You know, the more he does this, I think the better. And when he comes out, you know, I'm really excited to see him once again. I'm happy that we got a chance to do this before he went into the service,” Usher said.

Son Sungdeuk, the choreographer for BIGHIT Music, commended BTS' Jungkook's passion for what he does. According to Son Sungdeuk, the SEVEN vocalist was always the last to leave rehearsals for concerts and solo performances.

“For every concert, Jungkook was always the last to leave rehearsals, practicing his solo performances. He’d practice his vocals even more for group songs.”

BIGHIT Music introduced a docuseries featuring BTS' Jungkook, titled I AM STILL, on November 7, 2024. This series chronicled the artist's artistic path and the influences that inspired his inaugural solo album, GOLDEN. The idol's complete album was released on November 3, 2023.
