"I’ve poured my feelings into this program" — BTS' Jin on his appearance on NHK's 'Venue 101 Presents JIN SPECIAL' in Tokyo

BTS' Jin's 'Venue 101 Presents JIN SPECIAL' event, held at the NHK Hall in Tokyo, Japan, will be broadcast on December 7 on NHK General TV. The show, a public recording, was held live on November 28, 2024, however, the recording will be aired later.

As per the First Times' November 28 article, The Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter performed three songs from his latest solo album, Happy, released on November 15. The BTS artist further stated that he had prepared something "special" for ARMYs (BTS fans) and said:

"This time, I have the honor of appearing on Venue 101! What’s more, this is a special program titled ‘Venue 101 Presents JIN SPECIAL.’ I’ve prepared something truly special for all the ARMYs I haven’t seen in Japan for a long time."

Jin added that he poured his feelings into hosting and recording the event so that fans across the world could watch it later. Reportedly, there's also a segment where the Moon singer answered fan questions, sent beforehand. He stated:

"It was also wonderful to meet Tsukasa Saito from Trendy Angel again after such a long time, and I had an enjoyable time with him. I’ve poured my feelings into this program, hoping that everyone who watches it will feel Happy. Please look forward to it and enjoy!”

BTS' Jin made waves with the release of his debut solo album, Happy, which dropped on November 15, 2024. The album quickly climbed the charts, debuting at No. 4 on the Billboard 200.

With tracks exploring themes of joy and resilience, Happy represents his personal storytelling, reflecting his journey toward finding happiness amidst the darkest of times. The album has six tracks Running Wild, Another Level, I'll Be There, Heart on the Window (feat. WENDY of Red Velvet), Falling, and I will come to you.

In addition to his musical success, the Running Wild singer-songwriter represented South Korea as a torchbearer for the 2024 Paris Olympics. During the opening ceremony, he carried the Olympic Flame past the iconic Louvre Pyramid on July 15, 2024.

He also featured as a special guest in the MBC reality show, Half-Star Hotel in Lost Island, in episodes 15 and 16. He is set to appear on tvN's reality show, Handsome Guys, which will be premiered on December 1, 2024, at 7.40 PM KST. He will also appear on Netflix's reality show, Kian Bizarre B&B, which will be aired in 2025.


In other news, he served in the South Korean military for 18 months from December 13, 2022, to June 12, 2024.
