On October 17, 2024, the South Korean K-pop girl group STAYC officially announced through X account that they will release their much anticipated digital single [ ...I], by the end of this month (October), sending the fandom into a frenzy.

The announcement was accompanied by an image motion video featuring a pink phone. The screen displayed messages from the group members, including, 'Aren't you curious about me?' and 'Is this enough' to their crush or significant other.

Subsequently, STAYC's latest announcement post circulated on social media and went viral among the fandom. The fandom could not contain their excitement, and naturally, an X user tweeted:

"Omg I'm so happy have been waiting for their music since decades, I've prayed for days like this."

The internet users stated that STAYC was on their way to saving K-pop music with their industry again, and the image motion concept impressed them.

"Maybe the render took longer than expected and that's why they released til now," a fan reacted.

Moreover, fans wondered if the forthcoming digital single would be part of any single album and referred to its name as adorable.

The South Korean K-pop group STAYC, which stands for Star to a Young Culture, was formed by High Up Entertainment. The band features six members: Isa, Seeun, Yoon, J, Sieun, and Sumin. The group officially debuted on November 12, 2020, with the release of their debut single album, Star to a Young Culture. The record featured two tracks, including So Bad and Like This.

The album was produced by South Korean duo Black Eyed Pilseung, known for their hits, including Roller Coaster, Touch My Body, TT, and Dumhdurum. They have also been associated with the American record label and agency Mercury Tokyo.

STAYC has an impressive discography that includes Metamorphic, Stereotype, Young-Luv.com, Teenfresh, Staydom, We Need Love, Teddy Bear, So Bad, ASAP, Run2U, Poppy, Bubble, Meow, Cheeky Icy Thang, and other tracks.


In recent news, the group released their first studio album, Metamorphic, on July 1, 2024, through High Up Entertainment. The album includes fourteen tracks, including Twenty, Cheeky Icy Thang, 1 Thing, Give It 2 Me, Find, Let Me Know, Nada, Fakin, Roses, Beauty Bomb, Gummy Bear, Stay with Me, Flexing on My Ex, and Trouble Maker.

After the female group releases their digital single [ ...], the members are expected to interact with their fans at a fourth-anniversary pop-up store titled 'ONLY 4 SWITH' in November 2024.
