On Sunday, July 7, ATEEZ's San kicked off a live stream through POP!, a live streaming outlet created by KQ Entertainment for their artists. As the idol conversed with his fans through the comments section, he also felt the need to address the controversy surrounding his recent Dolce & Gabbana outfit at the DG Alta Moda event.
The idol cleared up confusion about the events that unfolded during the show. From a few backstage pictures and videos that landed on the internet, many fans thought that the idol was not given a proper place to sit and was squeezed between two other celebrities. While the two people on either side were made to sit on a cushion, he allegedly wasn't provided one, naturally angering the fans.
"For the cushion, I decided to sit like that. I am sad that this is causing a misunderstanding."

However, San cleared up the issue by stating that he personally requested that he didn't need a cushion to sit on. Additionally, he was quite grateful for the outfit they had let him wear. While people thought that his top was uncomfortable and unconventional, the idol expressed that he chose the outfit to challenge himself, and he was happy to wear the main piece from Dolce & Gabbana's last year's show.

ATEEZ's San talks about his experience at the recent DG Alta Moda event

On July 3, the idol was spotted at the event wearing a famous piece of the brand from last year's show, a harness featuring baroque motifs, which he paired with dark brown formal pants.
The ATEEZ member has been a frequent representative of Dolce & Gabbana and has worn their pieces several times. However, his appearance at the DG Alta Moda event marks his debut for the brand's show. San was seated next to Alessandra Ambrosio, a Brazilian model, who later started to follow him on Instagram after the show. The two were spotted chatting during the show from time to time.
When fans inquired about his experience at the show, with many alleging that the idol experienced racism, San cleared up the issue through his POP! livestream. The idol continued to talk about how he felt very welcomed by the Italian designer Domenico Dolce. He added that Dolce said that Italy, in general, loves ATEEZ's San.
