What happened in When the Phone Rings episode 10?
Episode 10 of When the Phone Rings left viewers on edge, showing Chae Soo-bin's Hee-joo dreaming of a peaceful, happy life with Yoo Yeon-seok's Sa-eon while she lay unconscious.
Meanwhile, Do-jae took the real Sa-eon to the site where Chairman Baek had previously tried to kill him, driven by his belief that Sa-eon was responsible for his twin’s death. However, after overhearing a conversation between the real Sa-eon and fish shop owner Sang-hun, Do-jae realizes he has been targeting the wrong man all along.
The real Sa-eon eventually arrived at the location, where Do-jae struck him on the head but was soon attacked in return. Spokesperson Sa-eon arrived shortly afterward, searching for Hee-jo, and discovered Do-jae locked in a black bag. Upon being freed, Do-jae revealed the truth about the real Sa-eon to him.
In a dramatic turn, the murderer Sa-eon fled in a car with Hee-jo, sparking a violent confrontation between the two Sa-eons. The next day, Do-jae identified his twin’s remains, and spokesperson Sa-eon urged him not to give up on his life. Working together, they tracked a device linked to the killer Sa-eon, only to discover Hee-jo had been attacked once again.
The episode concluded with spokesperson Sa-eon holding a press conference, where he disclosed that he was not the biological son of Ui-yong, Baek Sa-eon, and revealed Hee-joo’s identity to seek public help in finding her.
