On Wednesday, September 18, 2024, Star@Style magazine released their exclusive interview with the new K-pop boy band ARrC. During this interview, the reporter asked multiple questions to the members. When the boys were asked about their role model or favorite artist, Rioto Kaneko answered that BTS’ Jimin is his idol.

"Mine is BTS Jimin senpai (senior)! I've been learning ballet since I was young. Jimin senpai is also a dancer so I was really impressed by the expressiveness that only senpai can uniquely show when he dances. I want to be an artist who can perfectly handle dancing and singing just like senpai."

Fans went gaga over Rioto’s statement. Therefore, they also expressed their admiration for the BTS singer. They flooded X with their comments on Jimin. One of them wrote:

Many other responses from Jimin’s fans were recorded on the internet.

“My king Jimin. the one who deserves the world and so much more congratulations Jimin!!” a fan stated.
“JIMIN IMPACT. IDOL OF IDOLS JIMIN. BEST ROLE MODEL JIMIN. PROUD OF YOU JIMIN. WE LOVE YOU JIMIN. WITH JIMIN TILL THE END,” an X user commented.
“We love Jimin,” a fan wrote.

Some called him the "king of dance," while another fan said that the Like Crazy hitmaker is a "genius of dance and vocals."

“Oh his position in the group is same as jimin's Main Dancer. Lead Vocalist,” stated a fan.
“Jimin the king of dance,” stated an X user.
“JIMIN IS A GENIUS OF DANCE AND VOCALS,” commented another fan.

ARrC’s Rioto Kaneko wants to propagate Japanese food

In the interview, when asked about the type of content each member wished to produce with their group, Rioto expressed his wish to create Japanese content. He additionally expressed his desire to acquaint his colleagues with amazing Japanese cuisine.

“I want to shoot a Japanese travel content and introduce delicious Japanese food to the members. I'm from Tokyo, but there's a lot of delicious food in Osaka. I like yakisoba, takoyaki, and sushi, so I really want to take the members to eat.”

The members of ARrC were asked about the things that concerned them as of late. In response, Rioto said he needed to practice his facial expressions. He went on to mention that he has been working on adding different expressions to different songs.

Additionally, they were questioned about their aspirations for becoming idols. Responding to this, Rioto mentioned that his sister was a huge fan of BTS; thus, he grew up watching them. Moreover, he continued stating that he learned ballet dance because he enjoyed dancing.

The seven-member boy group ARrC is signed to Mystic Story Entertainment, a division of SM Entertainment. Kien, Hyunmin, Ziwoo, Choi Han, Doha, Jibeen, and Rioto are all part of it. ARrC dropped a digital single called Dummy on July 26, 2024, which was their pre-debut song. On August 19, 2024, they released their first extended play (EP) called AR^C and officially debuted.
