On August 9, 2024, BELIFT LAB shared an official statement through the South Korean social media platform Weverse, where they disclosed ILLIT Moka's leg muscle injury update and future group activities. The agency stated, as translated by @kchartsmaster on X:
"MOKA sustained a leg muscle injury this week and has been advised by medical staff to rest. She will participate in MUSIC EXPO on August 11 and Show! Music Core on August 12, but will remain seated on stage and not be performing the choreography."

The South Korean K-pop group ILLIT was formed by the sub-label of HYBE called BELIFT LAB. The band has five members, including Yunah, Minju, Moka, Iroha, and Wonhee, and debuted with the extended play Super Real Me. The EP featured five tracks, including My World, Magnetic, Midnight Fiction, and Lucky Girl Syndrome. The group made their first public appearance at the Acne Studios show during Paris Fashion Week before their official debut.
