BTS’ Kim Taehyung's alleged appearance in a video at a fellow soldier's military discharge ceremony has garnered attention from fans. Recently, a video surfaced showing a group of soldiers dancing in a circle to celebrate an army soldier's official discharge. Some eagle-eyed fans noticed a soldier who seemingly looked like the BTS member seen dancing and enjoying the discharge party.

The video quickly circulated among Kim Taehyung's fans, with many noticing that he seemingly wiped his tears after the dance, according to the video. On October 31, Hwang Sung-hyun, a South Korean man recently discharged from military service, shared several photos with V along with a message for him on his Instagram page.

Although it has not been confirmed whether the soldier is indeed Kim Taehyung, fans speculated it was him based on Hwang Sung-hyun's recent post. They took to social media to share their thoughts about the video and the alleged update regarding the Layover singer. One fan on X tweeted:

“Is he crying at the end???”

Several other fans echoed similar sentiments on the social media platform.

“I think this is Taehyung Kim Taehyung is a really great and kind person who loves everyone,” another fan said.
“My baby look so happy Ahhhh my happy bear. His happiness and well being is our priority,” an X user mentioned.

Watching the alleged clips, fans shared their thoughts on his friendship with his troop members.

“Look how happy Taehyung is at his Friends graduation,” a fan reacted.
“Is he doing his tiny claps then … wiping tears?? he has so much affection for people. That’s why everyone can’t help but to love him,” another fan wrote.
“My baby got attached to his ms friends,” an X user commented.

BTS’ Kim Taehyung receives a message from recently discharged fellow military soldier

On October 31, Hwang Sung-hyun, a soldier recently discharged from his military duties, shared a message for Kim Taehyung on his Instagram page, alongside photos of them together. According to Hwang, he and Kim Taehyung developed their friendship while working out together at the barracks.

He opened up about their close bond and received emotional support from the BTS vocalist during his difficult times in the military. Hwang also mentioned that he received words of encouragement and career guidance from Kim Taehyung and was touched by his sincere gestures.

In his message, Hwang Sung-hyun wrote:

“I’ll always think of you in my heart, and no matter how tough things get or how much I feel like giving up, I’ll hold on to the dreams you helped me find and work hard not to give up. Thank you for laughing with me, helping me through tough training, and just being there during that time, however short or long it may have felt.”

According to Hwang Sung-hyun’s Instagram page, the Slow Dancing singer expressed his gratitude towards his fellow soldier in a message. He wrote:

"Let’s keep in touch and keep working out together. Come visit often, and I’ll make sure to keep up that unique vibe you guys created and keep things fun. I got so attached that it’s a bit embarrassing that I cried. Erase that from your memory.”

Additionally, the BTS member spoke about his worries about the age difference with the other soldiers in his message. However, he was happy with the time he spent in the military due to their friendship. Kim Taehyung expressed his gratitude while also congratulating the soldier on his official completion of military service.

Meanwhile, BTS' Kim Taehyung is currently serving in the military as a member of a special military police unit at the 2nd Army Corps Headquarters in Chuncheon, South Korea.
