BTS’ Jungkook is all over social media, and fans speculate a possible collaboration song with American rapper Latto. On August 7, Latto unveiled a number used to promote her upcoming album Sugar Honey Iced Latte. The rapper shared a voice call on her X, hinting at the possible features on her album, which seemingly appeared to be the voices of two female and a male artist.
After hearing the last mysterious voice on the call, BTS fans were convinced it could be Jungkook. This created a huge buzz on social media, as this would mark their second collaboration after Jungkook’s debut solo single Seven. Anticipation for their possible second collaboration is at an all-time high, while their first one is still ranking on international charts as listeners continue to enjoy Seven.
Latto is set to unveil the tracklist of Sugar Honey Iced Latte on Thursday, August 8, and fans wish for the Standing Next to You singer to be a part of the feature line-up. Fans who were surprised by the mysterious voice on the call voiced their opinions on social media.
“Is that really JUNGKOOK?" a fan questioned.
“In the last part ice tea, JK's pronunciation always like that,” a fan added.
“Jungkook on latto's album with a feature coming out this friday hello ??? why is everyone so chill lol,” a user said.
Netizens continued to share their thoughts on the mysterious voice, speculating it to be Jungkook's.
“Call me delusional but that’s exactly how he would pronounce sugar,” another fan commented.
“Oomf said the third voice could be jungkook. I CANT UNHEAR IT NOW,” a user said.
“Do i hear jungkook’s voice at 0:19 or are my ears deceiving me because i miss him too much,” a fan commented.
On the other hand, some netizens were convinced it was not the BTS vocalist's voice in the promotional call.
“I don't think it's him but the way he stops in between while saying the whole phrase is soooo jungkook,” a fan stated.
“It really ain't sound like him tho idk why everyone saying it's JK's voice like?” a user commented.
“When it was Sugar Honey, it did sound like how he would pronounce it. But Iced tea part wasn't anywhere close to his accent. So I don't think it's him,” a fan wrote.
