On Thursday, September 26, NewJeans released a commercial in collaboration with ShinhanCard, a South Korean credit card service company. In the commercial, a song was heard playing in the background, and fans couldn't help but speculate that it was the group's upcoming track.

Following the release of the commercial, fans talked about how the song sounded really good and they hoped for it to be released soon. However, since there's no official news regarding the group's comeback or upcoming track release, the speculation only remains as a discussion amongst fans.

Regardless, fans also couldn't help but bring in the ongoing conflict between HYBE, ADOR, and NewJeans, in light of the K-pop girl group's possible new song. The K-pop girl group recently went on a YouTube livestream demanding the reinstatement of Min Hee-jin as ADOR's CEO and also expressed their displeasure with the new management of the agency.

Therefore, there has been quite a tension between HYBE, ADOR, and NewJeans, especially since ADOR rejected the girl group's requests to bring back Min Hee-jin as ADOR's CEO. Naturally, fans have been worried about the K-pop girl group's stance under the agency and also discussed whether the song that was allegedly teased through the commercial will be officially released.

Here are a few fan reactions regarding the same:

"am i crazy??? IS THAT A NEW SONG???"
"Wait! Is this the new song that was supposed to be released?" said a fan on X.
"If so we are ready for it and will be streaming hard!!" added a netizen.
"this song will probably just be the b side. not even the title trackk its soo good," commented anther netizen.

Many fans also expressed their worries that the song might never get released due to the current conflict.

"It sounds so good i think that’s unreleased song that we will never get anytime soon," stated a netizen.
"please let this be a new newjeans song," commented another netizen.
"Say good bye to NJ1 and this song," said a fan on X.
"A new song spoiler in Shinhan's commercial? No, it's so good even if you just listen to it briefly, but when will I be able to listen to the full song..." added a netizen.

All you need to know about NewJeans' ongoing conflict with HYBE and ADOR

On August 27, ADOR, the subsidiary of HYBE Labels, announced that there had been a few changes in their management. The former CEO, Min Hee-jin, was removed from her position and a new CEO, Kim Ju-young, the chief HR of HYBE Labels, was appointed as her replacement.

However, it was also announced that Min Hee-jin will continue to stand as the internal director of ADOR. Regardless, ADOR also expressed that their production and management departments will now be separated. This also makes ADOR the only agency to have a separate system.

Following this announcement, NewJeans went on a livestream through a fresh YouTube channel on September 11. During the same, the members expressed that they were not happy with the treatment they've been receiving at the hands of the new ADOR management.

Hanni talked about how her concerns were dismissed by the new CEO and Danielle also stated that she was scared for her, her group, and the other ADOR employees following the removal of Min Hee-jin. Additionally, all the members collectively expressed that the separate system of production and management has not been working out for them.

Therefore, NewJeans demanded HYBE Labels to bring back Min Hee-jin and revert ADOR to its original management system. They also gave the label until September 30 for their demands to be met. However, On September 25, ADOR released a statement rejecting the demands to reinstate Min Hee-jin as the CEO.

Regardless, fans have been excitedly discussing the potential comeback from NewJeans. They've also been hoping that the song release gets official soon and the ongoing feud between HYBE and ADOR doesn't interfere with the girl group's future.
