Actor Byeon Woo-seok recently spoke about how things have changed for him after Lovely Runner in a newspaper interview with Sports Seoul. The actor shared that he has been receiving overwhelming appreciation from fans for his character Ryu Sun-jae in the drama.
Following Lovely Runner, Byeon Woo-seok revealed that he has been receiving offers for acting projects ten to twenty more times than usual, including different genres, and that he has been sincerely reading through the scripts.
“It feels really different, and I'm grateful for it,” he stated.
Byeon Woo-seok expressed his wish to work on projects that would touch the viewers’ hearts.
“When I think about what kind of acting I want to do, it seems to change depending on whether my heart is moved while reading the script. I want to act well in emotionally moving works,” he added. Translated by @fallingbeen on X.
