My Dearest Nemesis’ production team has addressed the recent controversy involving the main lead actors, Moon Ga-young and Choi Hyun-wook. The two South Korean celebrities are all geared up for the release of their upcoming drama titled My Dearest Nemesis, which is on February 17, 2025.

Recently, a 4-cut photo where the two actors were seen kissing each other started to circulate on social media platforms. The two actors are seen posing in all-black outfits in the leaked photos. In particular, an image where they were seemingly locking lips gained attention among fans.

According to Sports Chosun, the photo was shared by a netizen who reportedly spotted it in Shinchon. They allegedly wrote,

“I saw the 4-cut photo of Moon Ga-young and Choi Hyun-wook from ‘My Dearest Nemesis' in Sinchon! Is it okay to be this cute?! Their chemistry is amazing. I can't wait!”

This further raised speculation about whether it was an image taken during their personal time or while filming the drama. In response to the controversy, the production team of the drama confirmed that the photo was not used for promotional purposes; however, it is a part of the drama.

Furthermore, they cleared that it was not taken personally by the actors and that a third party shared it. As per the reports, the production team felt embarrassed and in shock after learning that it had been leaked. They said,

“The 4-cut photo of Moon Ga-young and Choi Hyun-wook is not a promotional photo that we put out. It was uploaded by another company. It was leaked. It is part of the broadcast.”
