On July 31, 2024, BTS Jimin dropped the ‘MUSE’ Recording Behind video on the band's official YouTube channel, BANGTANTV. The video captured the unseen moments and footage of the K-pop sensation meeting the Grammy-winning American singer-songwriter Jon Bellion. They worked together on the former's song WHO.
WHO is the title track of the BTS idol's latest solo album, MUSE, which was released on July 19. In one of the scenes, Jimin watches Jon Bellion churns out lyrics for the track within a few hours after listening to what the BTS idol wanted to convey. Jimin compared Bellion with BTS' leader and songwriter, Kim Namjoon, aka RM, and said,
"This is a new experience. It's like I'm watching the American version of Namjoon. The lyrics came out so fast as well. Isn't he like the New York version of RM? It takes us like three days to write the lyrics."

The video showed the BTS vocalist recording WHO late at night and traveling to Jon Bellion's studio early morning to put the song together. The Be Mine singer-songwriter tried to sing WHO in various octaves to select the best variations.
Additionally, The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon was seen vibing and excitedly jumping while listening to the song and asking them to "Get it on the radio." This particular segment from the video was originally played on Fallon's show on July 22, 2024, when he revealed that he heard WHO months before its official release.
"I actually got a chance to hear it before it was released. It's a true story. I was in the recording studio, working on a secret project. And I see Jimin at the studio and go, 'Dude, what are you doing here?" [...] We actually have a footage here of me hearing the song for the first time. I heard this song months ago and I've been holding this secret in my soul."
The ‘MUSE’ Recording Behind video then moved to the recording of Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco)—the album's pre-release track. The BTS idol mentioned being nervous meeting the South Korean rapper and soloist Loco. After Loco arrived, both artists were too nervous and shy around each other and hilariously stood there in silence before Pdogg intervened.
The BTS idol discussed the overall theme of Smeraldo Garden Marching Band, its messaging, tune, and more with Loco along with HYBE music producers Pdogg, Evan, and GHSTLOOP.
The video wraps up with Jimin adding finishing touches to both the tracks from MUSE.
Park Jimin and BTS' Jungkook's upcoming reality travel show, Are You Sure?!, will be released on August 8, 2024, on Disney+. Meanwhile, both BTS members are actively serving in the South Korean military and will return in June 2025.
