"It’s ok keep lying to yourself"- Fans react as Hyun-bin seemingly refutes speculation about his crush on Son Ye-jin before their marriage

On Tuesday, December 17, 2024, the latest episode of Zzanbro's talk show offered a preview of its next week's episode featuring Hyun-bin and Jeon Yeo-been as guests on the show. The preview of the upcoming episode was added to the end of Zzanbro Shin Dong Yup's episode 72, which featured Bae Doona and Lee Soo-hyun as the guests.

The sneak peek of the forthcoming episode attracted significant online interest as the host inquired of Hyun-bin regarding his affection for Son Ye-jin before their marriage. In the trailer, Hyun-bin appears to have refuted the speculation of his crush on his wife, the acclaimed actress Son Ye-jin, prior to their marriage.

“Huh? That wasn’t the case back then...” the actor replied.

The answer from the actor wasn't acceptable to the fans of the Crash Landing On You couple. Therefore, their fans flooded the internet with their reactions to Hyun-bin's reply.

Many responses to the actor's reply were seen online. While some admired the host who questioned Hyun-bin about his relationship, another fan noted how red the actor's neck looked when he talked about Son Ye-jin.

Hyun-bin and Son Ye-jin worked together on several projects

Hyun-bin and Son Ye-jin initially teamed in the 2018 movie The Negotiation and subsequently rejoined to star in the 2019 tvN drama Crash Landing on You, where their on-screen chemistry ignited a genuine relationship. The couple tied the knot in March 2022 and welcomed their son on November 27 of the same year.

Presently, Hyun-bin and Jeon Yeo-been appeared in Zzanbro Shin Dong Yup's chat show for their forthcoming film Harbin. The movie is set in 1909 and chronicles the fervent pursuit and cat-and-mouse dynamic between those en route to Harbin for a singular objective and the entities pursuing them.

Directed by Woo Min Ho, Harbin is slated for release on December 24, 2024.
