Harper's BAZAAR Korea dropped the latest interview of BTS star Kim Seok-jin on its official YouTube channel. In the video titled "World Wide Handsome (WWH) reigns supreme in the bazaar. Wow, I like it!" the musician was asked if he would prefer re-enlisting in the military.
Jin immediately shut down the question and hilariously said,
"Wow, what an awful question... I had a dream about it but I woke up and I forgot all."
The BTS ARMY resonated with his response and mentioned the enlistment experience as a "nightmare." One X user wrote,
"HE IS SO REAL, IT WAS TRULY A NIGHTMARE FOR ALL OF US."

Fans wondered "why would anyone dream of re-enlisting" and found the interviewer's question "weird" and "awful."

BTS' Kim Seok-jin was announced as the global ambassador of GUCCI on August 7, 2024 (KST). The South Korean musician featured on the cover of Harper's BAZAAR Korea's forthcoming September issue in collaboration with the Italian luxury brand.
During the short interview, the Grammy-nominated musician revealed receiving a keychain charm of RJ and Wootteo as a gift from GUCCI. For the unversed, RJ is a cartoon character created by the BTS idol as part of the band's collaboration with LINE for the BT21 merchandise line. Wootteo is another cartoon character created by him for the promotion of his debut solo single, The Astronaut.
He mentioned that the charms are connected to one another with a magnetic lock. However, one would often fall off his bag whenever he would walk or travel. Hence he stuck the Wootteo charm magnet on his fridge at home while the RJ charm keychain remained on his bagpack.
Furthermore, he revealed his wish of sparring with Mike Tyson during the interview. Fans noted that in BTS' biography, Beyond the Story: 10 Year Record of BTS, the singer-songwriter mentioned enrolling for boxing lessons in 2015 and training in secret. Fans wondered if the Abyss singer-songwriter continued with his boxing lessons.
In other news, six members of BTS are currently serving in the military. j-hope is set to be discharged in October 2024, while the rest will return in June 2025.
