“It wasn’t easy" — IU's agency shares behind-the-scenes details preparing for her encore concert at the Seoul World Cup Stadium

IU concluded her HEREH World Tour: Encore THE WINNING on September 22, 2024. She held the two-night encore show in Seoul World Cup Stadium on September 21 and 22, where a total of 100,000 spectators came to see her perform.

Financial News reported on September 23, that her agency, EDAM Entertainment, shared how they obtained over 3,700 volume-controlled disposable bags to distribute in the Sangam district households.

This effort was made by the singer and her agency so that households near the stadium wouldn't get disturbed by the concert. A representative from EDAM Entertainment stated:

“We distributed trash bags to about 3,700 households. It wasn’t easy to suddenly obtain trash bags for that many districts, so we had a hard time obtaining trash bags that could be used throughout Seoul.”

The Holssi singer-songwriter also provided disposable binoculars to each of the spectators who attended her shows on September 21 and 22. While being onstage, the singer requested her fans to dispose of the binoculars in the nearby disposable bags beside each of their sections, to avoid littering the stadium.

EDAM Entertainment also mentioned that they thoroughly followed the ground usage manual to minimize damaging the field and took restorative measures for the grass as well.

The last day of her world tour (September 22) marked IU's 100th concert performance. She became the first female solo artist to achieve this feat. She kicked off her world tour on March 2, 2024, at Seoul's KSPO Dome. She held her concerts in the United Kingdom, China, Singapore, Germany, Malaysia, the United States, Thailand, Japan, and more.
