The South Korean actress Jeon Hye-jin is set to make her much-anticipated comeback after a hiatus of one year and seven months with the comedy and family drama Riding Life. She took a break from her profession following the untimely demise of her spouse, Lee Sun-kyun.
For those unversed, Lee Sun-kyun was accused of drug consumption in October 2023. However, the results of the tests were negative, as per a CNN report. Unfortunately, My Mister actor was found dead on December 27, 2023.
Jeon Hye-jin's comeback project, Riding Life, is a slice-of-life and family drama adapted from the novel of the same name by Go Seon-mi. The series is helmed by director Kim Chul-gyu, who is known for On the Way to the Airport, Confession, Flower of Evil, Chicago Typewriter, and more.
Starring actors including Jeon Hye-jin, Jun Suk-ho, Jo Min-soo, Jung Jin-young, Park Bo-kyung, and Kim Sa-rang, the show will premiere on ENA on March 3, 2025

In Riding Life, Jeon Hye-jin takes on the role of Lee Jeong-eun. The series will showcase the hectic schedule of Jeong-eun, an ambitious and ardent beauty industry professional who has been looking after her seven-year-old daughter. The character has had a hard life during her teenage and adult life. She had to take responsibility for her mother to support her at the time.
Subsequently, after getting married and raising her daughter, she is filled with an unknown kind of resentment towards her mother. Later, Lee Jeong-eun asks her mother to give rides to her seven-year-old daughter to academies in preparation for the '7-year-old exam.'
Jun Suk-ho will portray the character of a home-shopping MD, Hong Jae-man. Being an irresponsible husband, he would irritate his wife almost every day. Despite being an underperforming worker at the office, he puts his family as his foremost priority.
Jo Min-soo will take on the role of a children's art therapist, Yun Ji-a, at a university. She is a single mother who has looked after her daughter Jeong Eun solely without a partner. She discovers a new world after she visits her grandson's academy. Meanwhile, Jung Jin-young will play the role of an English professor, Lee Yeong-uk.
Riding Life is slated to premiere on March 3, 2025. The ENA drama will feature eight episodes.
