On December 30, 2024, the South Korean media outlet Newsen reported that Jeon So-min was confirmed to appear as a guest on the variety program Running Man. According to the publication, an official from SBS said the following words:

"Jeon So-min participated in the recording that took place today as a guest of Running Man. It is scheduled to air in January."

It should be noted that the actress will be reuniting with the cast of Running Man as a guest after departing from the show for a year. She left the program in November 2023 to recharge herself with new energy and provide better performances.

According to the SBS's official, the special broadcast date of the episode where Jeon So-min would appear could not be specified. It was because the broadcast of December 29, 2024, was canceled due to the Jeju Airport disaster. Subsequently, there was the possibility to revoke the forthcoming episodes.

Jeon So-min would be joined for the Running Man with other prominent personalities, including Daniel Choi, weightlifters Hyejung Park, and Hayoon Kim. Formers can also expect So-min to interact with regular member Ji Ye-eun, who took Jeon So-min's place in the program following her departure.

For those unversed, the Miracle actress joined the SBS entertainment program Running Man as a regular cast member in April 2017. She continued to impress viewers with her tactics and jokes till October 2023 and rose to international fame. Meanwhile, the show is the longest-running Korean variety show.

Jeon So-min made her debut in 2004 with the sitcom Miracle. Subsequently, she appeared in the film Cinderella in 2006 and Princess Aurora in 2013. The artist has been associated with Studio Santa Claus. She is known for projects, including Tomorrow Victory, Something About 1%, Cross, Top Star U-back, Birthday Letter, and Review: Notebook of my Embarrassing Days.

She published her first book, You Can Call Me After a Drink, in January 2020 and signed with King Kong by Starship in April 2020. Subsequently, the agency announced in May 2024 that she would not renew her exclusive contract with them and departed from the label. Later, she signed with the new agency Studio Santa Claus Entertainment.

The female artist bagged numerous accolades, including the Popular Star Award, Drama Star Award, Actress Brand Loyalty Leader, Best Actress in Drama Special/ TV Cinema, Best Multi-Entertainment, Best New Actress, and other honors.

Apart from Running Man, she also appeared in the two seasons of the entertainment variety program Sixth Sense. It premiered on tvN from 2020 to 2021. She was joined by Yoo Jae-suk, Oh Na-ra, Jessi, Mijoo, Lee Sang-yeob, and others.


In recent news, she played the character of Hee-joo in the 2024 drama Eighteen Youth.
