Melting Me Softly was released on Amazon Prime on 13 June. Directed by Shin Woo-chul with Ji Chang-wook and Won Ji-ah in the lead, released in 2019 on Rakuten Viki. While it will still be available to stream on its older platform, Amazon Prime has decided to add the K-drama to its streaming service.

The fantasy drama, which has a sprinkle of romance and comedy, also did fairly well during its release in 2019. The story revolves around two individuals who decide to participate in an experiment. As it goes wrong, they struggle to survive the aftermath.


Melting Me Softly to come to Amazon Prime

Melting Me Softly was released on Rakuten Viki on 28 September 2019. Amazon Prime, on 12 June, announced the K-drama's release on its platform for its viewers. Viewers will be able to watch Melting Me Softly on their Amazon Prime subscriptions starting from 13 June.

Go Mi-ran (Won Ji-ah) and Ma Dong-chan (Ji Chang-wook) participate in an experiment that requires them to stay frozen for a day. As fate would have it, they stayed in that state for a span of 20 years.

Waking up in a much-evolved world where the ones they knew as their near and dear ones have aged, they can only survive if they maintain a specific body temperature and heartbeat. Moreover, the scientist who could help has lost his memories after an accident. While figuring out their survival, the two eventually fall in love with each other in Melting Me Softly.


Cast Of Melting Me Softly

Ji Chang-wook, known for his roles in K2, Suspicious Partner, and Welcome to Samdalri, plays the character of Ma Dong-chan, while Won Jin-ah, famous for her performance in Hellbound and Rain or Shine, will play the female lead, Go Mi-ran.

Ji Chang Wook's new film, Revolver, where he plays a villain, is expected to hit the big screen soon as fans get to see a few glimpses of it. Gangnam B-side and Queen Woo also make it to his list of projects. He is also expected to appear in the reality TV show My Name is Gabriel soon alongside actors such as Park Bo-gum.

Won Jin-ah has remained busy as well. She will be starring in an action thriller based on a webtoon, Child Shopping. The story revolves around an adopted child who was later abandoned trying to save other orphans from a similar fate. Alongside her will be Yum Jung Ah, Dex, and Ahn Ji Ho.


Melting Me Softly is directed by Shin Woo-chul and written by Baek Mi-Kyung. The director does not have any projects lined up after his last series, Durian's Affair. The two actors do not have any projects together either.
