On July 6, 2024, Big Hit Music shared the new concept photo serenade version for BTS Jimin's upcoming album Muse on their official X account, sending fans into a frenzy. The latest images were accompanied by a concept clip, providing a glimpse of the record.

In the first concept photo, Jimin donned a navy or black-colored outfit engraved with golden buttons. He complemented his attire with black pants and boots and held Smeraldo flowers. The idol was seated in a chair with Chelsea boots, having the reflection of the number '7.'

In the second concept picture, the idol stood on a round-shaped mini-stage with a guitar. He donned a black suit and adorned himself with a few accessories, including earrings and rings. Some Smeraldo flowers were scattered around the idol.

In the third, fourth, and fifth concept photos for the serenade version, the idol was accompanied by musical instruments, including guitar, drums, piano, and other elements. He was also playing guitar in one of the pictures. Jimin donned a dark green-colored ensemble embroidered with golden buttons and threads. He complemented his appearance with painted nails.

On June 17, 2024, Bighit Music shared a press release through the South Korean social media platform where they announced the release of the idol's second solo album, Muse, and said:

"Following his first solo album, FACE, where he sought to explore his true identity, MUSE documents his journey in search of the source of his inspiration. Showcasing Jimin’s expanded musical spectrum, MUSE includes seven tracks, including the fan song Closer Than This, released in December 2023."

Following the announcement, the agency disclosed that Muse would be available in two physical versions, including Blooming and Serenade. Additionally, a Weverse version of the record would also be available.

The agency has unveiled multiple concept photos in both Blooming and Serenade versions on their official X account and has shared the tracklist for the upcoming album. The tracks are as follows:

Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco) was unveiled as a pre-release single with a music video on June 28, 2024. The album Muse is slated for release on July 19, 2024, at 1 p.m. KST.
