On August 7, 2024, Gucci announced BTS' Kim Seok-jin as their new global ambassador. On June 12, the Italian luxury brand reportedly sent flowers and goods to HYBE when the BTS sensation was discharged from the military. Fans speculated that the brand might sign the musician as its global ambassador.
Two months later, Gucci confirmed its intention and announced BTS Jin as the new face of the Italian Maison. The creative director of Gucci, Sabato De Sarno, was quoted by WWD,
"Jin’s warm and kind personality is truly magnetic, and his style is simply unique. He is a generous and extraordinary artist who is able to move people with his music, which makes us even more honored to share this journey with him."

After getting discharged from the military on June 12, 2024, Jin was announced as the first-ever global ambassador for the French luxury jewelry brand, FRED. Now, including Gucci, the Epiphany singer-songwriter has clocked in two major brand deals within a month.
Notably, Min Yoongi aka Suga became the face of Valentino, Park Jimin became the global ambassador for both Dior and Tiffany & Co. and j-hope was named the global ambassador for Louis Vuitton.
BTS' Kim Taehyung aka V became the face of Cartier and CELINE whereas Jungkook was chosen as the ambassador for Calvin Klein. Furthermore, BTS leader and music producer, Kim Namjoon aka RM was named as the first-ever global ambassador for Bottega Venetea—in the brand's entire history.
