More about Jin's upcoming show Half-Star Hotel in Lost Island

Half-Star Hotel in Lost Island is set to be released on August 19, 2024, at 9 pm (KST). It will be streamed on Apple TV and the Korean OTT platform Wavve. The Epiphany singer-songwriter will reunite with B1A4's Sandeul, which delighted fans as the duo are good friends in the industry.

MBC dropped the official preview of the forthcoming variety show on August 12, 2024, which showed the BTS sensation's hilarious attempt at fishing and manual labor. The show raised expectations of the BTS ARMY, who waited over 18 months for the musician to return from the military and release his solo content.

For the unversed, Wavve and Apple TV have been broadcasting Half-Star Hotel on Lost Island (aka It's a Good Thing to Rest Well) since the beginning of 2024. It centers on soccer star Ahn Jung-hwan and his temporary employees as they attempt to turn an abandoned home on an isolated island into a hotel and extend an invitation to visitors.

Apart from the MBC variety show, the BTS idol has been busy filming for several other variety programs, including his own show, Run Jin. The show is set to be released on August 13, 2024, at 9 PM (KST) on Weverse and BANGTANTV (YouTube).

The Moon singer-songwriter will take his fans on an adventurous journey to Jeju Island, where he will go hiking on Hallasan Mountain. The singer's show promises an abundance of hilarious content and heartwarming interactions between the BTS star and others.

In other news, after being discharged from the military on June 12, 2024, the Moon singer-songwriter became the global ambassador for FRED and GUCCI. He was also the first Korean musician to carry the Olympic Flame at the 2024 Paris Olympics Torch Relay and represent South Korea.

Furthermore, he is set to release his debut solo album in the fourth quarter of 2024. He was also featured on Harper's BAZAAR Korea's latest cover issue.
