BTS’s Jin has reportedly teamed up with renowned South Korean chef, Baek Jong-won, to establish a traditional liquor brand called IGIN. This collaboration makes him the first BTS member to officially venture into the business world. IGIN will be a The Born Korea subsidiary, which will also take care of the liquor brand's distribution.

As per Dipe's report, IGIN centers on promoting Korean culture, specifically through its traditional alcohol-making techniques. The brand aims to highlight traditional Korean brewing processes, including making makgeolli (rice wine), while modernizing these practices to appeal to both domestic and global markets.

This partnership builds on their existing camaraderie, previously showcased in the popular YouTube series, The Drunken Truth, where the duo explored the art of Korean alcohol brewing. Furthermore, IGIN will reportedly carry flavors popular in Yesan, Baek Jong-won’s hometown in Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea.

On December 11, 2024, News 1 reported that IGIN will also produce ready-to-drink bottles, with the flavors of Yesan apples, watermelons, and plums. The bottles will be named "IGIN Sweet Tonic" and "IGIN Sour Tonic. Moreover, Culinary Class War judge and celebrity chef, Baek Jong-won has also established a brewing factory, Genie Lamp, in Yesan for Jin's business operation.

Details about IGIN’s product lineup and launch date remain under wraps, the brand is expected to make its official debut in early 2025.
