The last episode of Jinny's Kitchen 2 is expected to be released on September 6, 2024. The series airs on tvN in Korea and can be watched on Prime Video in other countries. Set in Iceland, the cast features Lee Seo-jin as the president, Jung Yu-mi as the director, Park Seo-joon as the general manager, Choi Woo-shik as the deputy, and Go Min-si as the newest intern.
Go Min-si replaces BTS' V, who had to step down from the intern role due to his military service. The series made its debut on June 28, 2024.
The show continues with the team serving delicious Korean food, led by a veteran crew. The new season also introduces a flexible system where roles can change daily, with yesterday's chef potentially becoming today's hall manager.
Jinny's Kitchen 2: The show so far
In Jinny's Kitchen 2, Go Min-si joins the team as an experienced intern, but she must first pass an unexpected interview with the staff. The new Chef's Responsibility system is introduced, adding a twist to daily kitchen roles.
The restaurant faces immediate challenges, from ingredient shortages to a surge of dinner guests. Meanwhile, Rookie Chef Woo-shik and Intern Min-si work together to navigate the ups and downs.
Veteran Chef Yu-mi also returns, showcasing her efficiency, while President Mr. Lee struggles with a mistake that costs the restaurant a payment. Chef Seo-jun steps up as a reliable leader during the weekend rush, but even his smooth operations aren't immune to unexpected confusion.
As Chef Park debuts a new menu item and the team endures a non-stop rush of customers, the restaurant faces continuous challenges. The team also makes time to celebrate Woo-shik’s birthday amidst the hustle and bustle.
The season highlights the team's adaptability and teamwork. This season also features a special Invitation Day for Icelandic locals who helped the restaurant. The intense work continues late into the night, setting the stage for more culinary adventures.
Season finale: What to expect?
With a slip-up here and there, Jinny's Kitchen 2 crew has still managed to gather a crowd every day and keep their customers happy. The cast has worked hard, as is evident in the episodes and from the post of Park Seo-joon. On March 31, Park Seo-joon took to Instagram to share a story marking the end of filming for the show.
The post humorously featured Seo-joon, asleep on a chair, capturing the exhaustion from the demanding schedule in Iceland. What really amused fans was the caption he added:
“Summary of Seojin’s 2 half shot.”
The cast can be expected to be successful in their venture of providing Korean delicacies in Iceland and giving the locals an authentic taste of the cuisine. As fans can see in most episodes, the customers seem to be enjoying the dishes. With the cast working dedicatedly, Jinny's Kitchen 2 proceeds towards a seemingly successful finale.
