After prepping for the opening day in episode 1 of Jinny's Kitchen season 2, the crew gears up as the restaurant is flooded with customers and Choi Woo-shik manages the kitchen successfully as Head chef. Assisting Woo-shik in the kitchen in Min-si while the rest have table duties.

Jinny's Kitchen season 2 episode 2: The opening day has customers flowing in

In the second episode of Jinny's Kitchen season 2, as the first group of customers arrived, Seo-jin engaged them in conversation as he took their order. They ordered one of every item on the menu. Meanwhile, Woo-shik and Min-si who were handling the kitchen got busy preparing their order.

Woo-shik took care of Kkori Gomtang and Beef Galbijim while Min-si prepared Dolsot-bibimbap. The order reached the table in two parts and the customers loved the food. As they catered to the first group of customers, several others started coming into the restaurant. In fact, the restaurant was full within 20 minutes of opening. Woo-shik and Min-si started breaking a sweat getting the orders ready.

The Icelanders who arrived were amused by the interior which seemed to be a clever fusion of Korean and Icelandic cultures. The paintings had horses wearing Korean clothes while the Korean tigers were dressed in traditional Icelandic outfits.

Seeing Woo-shik and Min-si struggling, Yu-mi also decided to lend a helping hand to the two. Orders keep flowing in. The dessert menu is introduced here for the first time which consists of vanilla ice cream with puffed rice and sweetened beans.

During the first shift, they sent out all orders on time. However, while clearing tables and washing dishes, they realized they were running out of ingredients for the dinner shift and needed to prepare everything from scratch.

Seo-jun and Min-si went to get groceries, enjoying the scenic view along the way. As they returned, they saw a line of people waiting for the restaurant to reopen, increasing the pressure as they began preparations again.

Woo-shik again took charge of the beef, which took at least 2 hours to cook, and Min-si prepared the vegetable fritters and her requirements for the bibimbap. They opened again at 6 pm, and customers started flowing in, so much so that they fell short of menus. This time, a waiting list formed within 5 minutes of opening the restaurant.

To make sure they had enough to feed an extra 6 groups of people waiting, they checked their ingredients and unfortunately had to send most of the groups away, but not before apologizing to them for the inconvenience. The rest of the customers inside the restaurant found themselves lucky since the drinks were on the house now.

While paying the bill, one of the customers recognized Woo-shik. Turns out, she was his fan and shyly took his autograph as well.

As they finished all the orders, Woo-shik was left stunned by how hard-working Min-si was. She refused to take a break or even drink water during work. He jokingly apologized for going to have a sip of water. The team then started with dishwashing. The last customers left, and they wrapped up their tiring day.

The total number of customers who turned up was 55, all of whom went home satisfied. Woo-shik had put his all into making sure he proved himself and was happy that he could feed so many people. Seo-jin decided on the next Chef of the Day for Jinny's Kitchen Season 2. Yu-mi was chosen for the responsibility. This is where Episode 2 of Jinny's Kitchen Season 2 ended.

The next episode of Jinny's Kitchen season 2 is scheduled to air on July 12. Fans will get to see how Yu-mi handles the stress in the kitchen.
