He dropped the special trailer of the upcoming project on his Instagram account and reposted its story, captioning the update as:

Those unversed, Kim Namjoon's much-anticipated documentary would chronicle the eight-month-long journey of the male artist, from the process of producing his second solo album, Right Place, Wrong Person to his mandatory military enlistment. The latest record would provide a record of the idol's personal moments.
The male artist released his second solo album, Right Place, Wrong Person, on May 24, 2024, and featured eleven songs, including LOST! as the title track of the latest record.

BTS' RM's solo debut documentary RM: Right People, Wrong Place will be screened for the first time at the much-anticipated 2024 Busan International Film Festival, scheduled to be held between October 2 to October 11. The upcoming project is the first K-pop documentary to be selected under the Open Cinema section of the prestigious event and will be screened at the Busan Cinema Center's outdoor theatre.
The upcoming documentary has been helmed by the director Lee Seok-jun and produced by the HYBE corporation. The special trailer featured the behind-the-scenes and unreleased moments from Kim Namjoon's latest endeavors. It showcased the moments from Come back to me and Right Place, Wrong Person's filming scenes and recording sessions.
According to the official website rmrpwp, RM: Right People, Wrong Place would showcase Kim Namjoon's true personality as an artist, leader of BTS, and individual. In the project, the idol has promised to reflect on how honest he could be as BTS' RM and Kim Namjoon while maintaining the equilibrium between gratitude and pressure.
"He reflects on how honest he can be as both RM and Kim Namjoon, balancing gratitude for the attention he receives with the pressure and fear that come with his status. RM used the period between the release of his first solo album 'Indigo' and his enlistment to discover his true self, channeling his experiences and emotions into his second solo album."

Kim Namjoon, aka BTS' RM, enlisted for mandatory military service on December 11, 2023, alongside fellow group member Kim Taehyung. After concluding five weeks of basic military training, the rapper was reportedly deployed to the 15th Infantry Division, where he would continue to serve his remaining duty as an active soldier.
